Salary: $36.00 hourly / 30-40.00 hours per week

Terms of employment:  permanent, regular, full time

Requirements: Experience: 2-3 years of experience working in construction roofing environment , work site: at heights, outdoors, cold/hot, various locations in commercial and residential buildings, able to work in fast-paced environment, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads Up to 45 kg (100 lbs), large workload, repetitive tasks, weight handling, personal suitability, dependability, reliability, team player,

Tasks

Install or replace flat roofing and modified bitumen roofing, asphalt shingles, wood shingles, cedar and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings, Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings, read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements, repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings,  Repair roofing systems, Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level, Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools, Install sheet metal flashings, Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms, install eavestroughing and flashing, soffit and fascia, new roofs and old roofs repair and maintenance.
