Position Overview
Soni Renovations Ltd is seeking a skilled Vanity and Kitchen Cupboard Installer to perform on-site installation of cabinetry and related fixtures in residential and commercial renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate measurements, layout planning, installation, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining professional client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine layout and installation procedures based on project specifications and site conditions
- Measure and mark guidelines for accurate placement and alignment of cabinets and vanities
- Install kitchen cupboards, bathroom vanities, and related fixtures in accordance with design plans
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, and secure installations
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
- Prepare and maintain work materials, tools, and supplies
- Supervise and guide helpers or junior workers during installation activities
- Ensure professionalism in customer service while working at client locations
- Inspect completed installations and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in cabinet installation, carpentry, or related field
- Language: Proficiency in English
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift materials
Work Environment
- On-site role (no remote work option)
- Residential and commercial renovation settings
- Requires travel to job sites within the region
