Work location: Vernon, BC
Tasks:
- Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate administrative and operational functions of the construction company to ensure efficient business performance
- Oversee daily office operations including coordination between management, project teams, suppliers, and clients
- Develop and implement company policies, procedures, and administrative systems to improve operational efficiency
- Manage administrative staff including hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluation
- Oversee budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting in coordination with accounting personnel
- Coordinate procurement and purchasing of materials and services, including supplier negotiation and contract administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and contractual obligations
- Prepare operational reports, project summaries, and performance analysis for senior management
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support business operations and project coordination
- Support project managers by ensuring administrative systems, documentation, and reporting processes are properly maintained
