Job Duties

● Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of logistics, administrative, and management staff of the

business

● Determine and establish office procedures and guidelines for visitors, drivers, and customers

● Support human resources functions including onboarding, training & development, and employee record keeping

● Save and process Bills of Lading and Proof of Delivery documents

● Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

● Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office

● Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication

● Perform office administration tasks, such as filing documents (electronic and by paper), copying, scanning etc.

● Prepare, Tally, Verify and submit office expense payments such as utilities, office supplies, business expenses,

credit cards etc

● Maintain equipment’s registration, insurance, and maintenance records

● Maintain the effective operation and upkeep the office equipment, including photocopier, fax machine, printers,

computers and telephones.

● Calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques

● Prepare, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, reports and related material for the company

● Communicate effectively by answering emails, phone calls, mails, inquiries etc.

● Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of the management

● Order office supplies and maintain inventory

● Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages

● Maintain manual and computerized information filing systems for company records

● Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of

information within the company and associated businesses

● May be asked to greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person

● Arrange travel schedules and make reservations for employer, if needed

Employment Requirements
Completion of Secondary school is required. College diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or logistics will be an asset to have
More than 1 year of work experience in clerical, administrative, supervisory, or managerial experience is required
Excellent written and oral English to communicate with company drivers, customers, visitors, suppliers, and management is required

Excellent record-keeping skills

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and able to communicate with persons at all levels

Excellent computer literacy with adequate knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

Benefits
Overtime rate of 1.5 times the regular is applicable after 40 hours per week or 08 hours per day.
