Technical Sales Representative (NOC: 62100) - Ottawa

Flynn Canada Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative to fill 2 vacancies in our Ottawa Branch (1655 Comstock Rd, Gloucester, ON K1B 5L2)

Responsibilities Include:
• Assess general contractor/clients' needs
• Confer with employees, inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to understand construction barriers and market trends
• Consult with project personnel to provide advice and to resolve issues as per clients' needs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients/stakeholders
• Develop and maintain knowledge on curtainwall/glazing to explain features to clients and answer questions
• Estimate costs of projects and support in meeting project timelines and quotas
• Prepare documentation such as contracts, estimates, and client records
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior sales or technical staff as required

Qualifications Required:
• Minimum completion of high school education
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Intermediate English or French skills

Skills and Knowledge:
• Knowledge of building science or curtainwall/glazing systems is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to multi task and work in a team environment
• Ability to meet project deliverables and timelines

Terms of Employment:
• Salary is ranging from $80,000 - $90,000 annually
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Vacation: 3 weeks (15 days)
