Position Summary

The Merchandise and Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing global events and branded merchandise initiatives. The role involves managing budgets, vendors, logistics, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, conferences, and promotional activities
  • Develop and manage event budgets and ensure cost efficiency
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery
  • Oversee the design, production, and distribution of branded merchandise
  • Ensure search engine optimization (SEO) of the event online.
  • Manage logistics including shipping, storage, and on-site event execution
  • Maintain event calendars and schedules across multiple brands
  • Supervise event setup, teardown, and post-event evaluations
  • Analyze event performance and prepare reports with recommendations
  • Ensure maximum brand exposure and alignment with marketing objectives
  • May supervise and coordinate the work of team members involved in events and merchandising

 

Employment Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in event management, merchandising, or marketing operations
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and managing budgets
  • Ability to work independently and across international teams
  • Flexibility with the schedule as the position involves coordination across multiple time zones
  • Proficiency with collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, event software)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
