Position: Construction Cleaner
Terms of employment: Full-Time; Permanent 
Salary: $26.45 per hour 
Number of positions: 5
Start date: As soon as possible 
Work location(s): Various Locations in Lower Mainland areas of BC and/or as per company’s contracts 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Job Duties

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Clean snow and ice from construction sites.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other unwanted material.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Perform other routine maintenance/ repair jobs as per foreman instructions.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other construction cleaning duties as required.

           

Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school would be an asset but not mandatory.
  • No experience required. Training will be provided.
  • A functional understanding of English is required.
  • Candidate should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and in all-weather conditions.
