Responsibilities/Tasks

• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely and on schedule
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy when required
• Load, unload, secure, and tarp cargo to ensure safety and compliance
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
• Inspect tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration units, and other safety components to ensure roadworthiness
• Receive dispatch instructions and provide trip updates as required
• Record cargo details, hours of service, mileage, and fuel consumption accurately
• Monitor vehicle condition and report mechanical issues promptly
• Handle payments and required documentation for deliveries when applicable
• Comply with company policies and all applicable transportation and safety regulations
