Job Title: Metal fabrication worker

Terms of Employment: Full-time/Permanent

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $21.00 per hour

Job Duties:

• Read and understand work orders.
• Remove welds, rust, scales and other materials from metal parts, products and casting by operating cleaning tools such as wheelabrators, deburrers and short blasters.
• Clean metals to reflex the finish by using cleaning solutions.
• Transporting raw materials and finished metal goods or using hoists or other tools
• Sorting sheets and pieces of metal, scrap metal and other materials
• Clean machinery and workstation
• Use of hand tools to cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products.
• Racking parts for processing.
• Operate rectifier base on materials to be processed.

• Polish metal products to mirror finish.
• Support metalworking machine operators or other metalworkers.

Skills Requirements

Education: No formal education is required.

Experience: No experience required.  Training will be provided to selected candidates.

Language:  Basic English

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive task, Tight deadlines, Manual dexterity, standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time
