Salary: $70,000 to $81,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 30 to 35 hours per week

Tasks
- Develop and implement strategies for designing, deploying, and maintaining organizational databases.
- Collect, document, and analyze business and customer requirements for database projects.
- Design and develop logical and physical data models, database schemas, and structures.
- Build, test, and optimize database management systems to ensure efficiency, reliability, and accuracy.
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from databases using SQL to support reporting and decision-making.
- Write scripts and automate data processing tasks using Python to improve workflow efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and advice to IT staff and other informatics professionals on database tools and best practices.
- Ensure data security by implementing access controls and monitoring unauthorized access attempts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, integrity, and reliability.
- Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and management to deliver data solutions and support organizational objectives.
- Maintain detailed documentation of database designs, procedures, and change logs.
