Target Transport Ltd. is hiring 5 (five) motivated and reliable Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. Immediate openings are available for drivers operating routes between British Columbia and USA.

Job Position: Long Haul Truck Driver

Start Date: As soon as possible
Positions Available:5 (five)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Year-Round)
Language of Work: English

Wages & Hours

• Wage: $36.65 per hour
• Hours: 40–50 hours per week
• Vacation Pay: 4% vacation pay paid with each scheduled paycheck

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement
• Valid passport and ability to legally enter the United States
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing (U.S. DOT requirement)
• Completion of secondary school
• 7 months to 1-year previous experience required

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operate and drive company trucks as part of a two-person driving team to transport goods across Canada and the United States
2. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment
3. Perform emergency roadside repairs when required
4. Oversee the loading and unloading of cargo and ensure safe handling and delivery
5. Ensure all documentation and permits are in order for US routes
6. Accurately maintain logbooks, including cargo records, mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses
7. Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher and team members
8. Drive independently or as part of a two-person team.
9. Must be willing and able to complete long-haul routes.
