Job Title: Retail Salesperson (Fat Panda - Thunder Bay)
Job Description
Fat Panda, Canada’s premier vape shop, is looking for energetic and customer-focused Salespersons to join our team in Thunder Bay! We have opportunities available across our three convenient locations. If you are passionate about the industry, enjoy helping people, and have a knack for sales, we want to meet you. As a Salesperson, you will be the face of Fat Panda, guiding customers through our extensive selection of hardware and e-liquids.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Consultation: Provide expert advice to customers on vape hardware, e-liquids, and accessories based on their needs and experience level.
• Sales & Upselling: Meet and exceed sales targets by promoting new products, daily deals, and our loyalty program.
• Store Operations: Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, inventory counting, and restocking shelves.
• Compliance: Strictly enforce age verification protocols (ID checks) to ensure 100% compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
• Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment at all times.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, product launches, and safety guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: 1–2 years of retail sales or customer service experience is required. Experience in the specialty retail or vape industry is a significant asset.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
• Age Requirement: Must be of legal age to work in a vape retail environment in Ontario (19+).
• Skills: Proficient with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer tasks.
• Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays across our three Thunder Bay locations.
• Attributes: Reliable, punctual, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
