Duties: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, Take children to and from school and to appointments, Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, Organize activities such as games and outings for children, Supervise and care for children, Tend to emotional well-being of children, Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents;

Administer bedside and personal care, Administer medications, Assist clients in water (i.e. pool), Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Collect specimens, Launder clothing and household linens, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Plan therapeutic diets and menus, Provide companionship, Provide personal care, Shop for food and household supplies, Prepare and serve nutritious meals, Cook

Terms of employment: 30 hours/week, permanent, full-time, mornings, day, evening, with overtime if needed

Wages $21 per hour

Education required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate /Completion of high school.

Work experience required: 1 year to less than 2 years of previous caregiving experience
