We, Umi Sushi Express, are seeking full-time chef position

Restaurant name: Umi Sushi Express

Position: Chef, Full time

Wage and working hours: $36.70 per hour and 30 Hours per week

Job Location: Unit FC 03B 701 West Georgia St Vancouver BC (Pacific Center Mall)

Start date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

-      Leading and coordinating kitchen staff to ensure effective service during peak hours.

-      Preparing and cooking complete meals and ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.

-      Managing kitchen inventory and requisition food and kitchen supplies.

-      Supervising cooks or kitchen staff, supervising food preparation and creating new menus, recipes

-      Ensuring food safety standards are met

-      Mentoring and training new kitchen staff on proper sushi preparation and presentation techniques.

Requirement:

- 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation

- High school graduation or higher

- Able to communicate in English
