We’re looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMIZATION CONSULTANT (NOC 11201) to analyze and improve supply chain and logistics processes, optimize material flow, and support project delivery. In this role, you’ll identify inefficiencies, develop contingency plans to prevent delays, implement process improvements and collaborate closely with project teams and suppliers. You will also monitor results, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement across our lines of business.

  • Review, analyze and improve supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and material flow.
  • Develop and recommend strategies to optimize sourcing, supplier management, and material distribution or storage.
  • Identify pinch points, possible inefficiencies, or causes for delays and develop contingency plans.
  • Lead or support implementation of process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and internal teams to improve workflow and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare reports, perform research and conduct assessments to support decision-making.
  • Advise management on best practices, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor results of implemented changes and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong project management and business analytics skills, with a solid understanding of lean principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive and self-driven mindset, with a positive attitude, a sense of ownership, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

 

--- Terms of Employment ---

  • Full time position with competitive hourly wage of $60 – 70 per hr. (with all hours over 40 per week paid at 1.5 x hourly wage).
  • 10 days paid vacation per year.
  • This is a permanent employment opportunity.
  • This is not a remote job – work location based in Victoria, B.C.
