requires 2 Permanent and Full-Time Long Haul Truck Drivers.
Company Driver Pay Scales:
33.80 to 35.30 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 60 hours per week
Overtime paid for any work done over 60 hours in a week

Company Driver Requirements:
Air Brakes Endorsement
Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Completion of secondary schoolor equivalent experience is required.
Language:FunctionalEnglish/CLBLevel4(CanadianLanguageBenchMarkLevel4is
required as per ICBC requirement)
Though on Job Training will be provided, but 1-2 years of experience as a truck driver is an
asset.
Duties:
Plan and adjust travel routes using computer systems, GPS, and other navigation tools
toreduce fuel usage and lower carbon emissions.
Provide professional and courteous customer service.
Organize travel plans, prepare itineraries, and make necessary reservations.
 
Operate trucks as part of a two-driver team or convoy when required.
Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Monitor the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration units,
and other equipment.
Carry out brake adjustments when needed.
Conduct emergency roadside repairs when mechanical issues arise.
Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and
Operational.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on the vehicle.
Communicate with central dispatch to receive instructions and relay updates.
Maintain accurate records of cargo details, driving hours, distance travelled, and fuel
usage.
Secureloadsbytarpingcargoandensuringpropersafetyandprotectionduring
transport.
Theidealcandidateshouldhaveexperienceoperatingtractor-trailersinlong-haul
transportation, includingprovincial/territorial, national, and international routes. Applicants must
have knowledge of transportation documentation such asaccident or incident reports, bills of
lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip), maintenance and
repair records, trans-border documentation, and trip reports.
Candidates must possess avalid driver’s licence, valid passport, and a clean driver’s abstract,
and be willing to undergo acriminal record check, driving record check, and drug testing. The
position requires individuals who arewilling to travel cross-border and internationallyas part of
their duties.
The role involvesphysically demanding work, including sitting for extended periods, managing
large workloads, performing repetitive tasks, andhandling loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Applicants should demonstratestrong attention to detailand the ability to work efficiently in a
fast-paced environment.
Drivers must have theirown basic equipment, including acell phone, hard hat, steel-toed safety
boots, safety vest, and gloves. The successful candidate should also demonstrate strong

teamwork, and a strong work ethicto perform effectively in the role.
