Bookkeeper (NOC: 12200)

Khosa Construction Ltd, located in Unit #3, 7550 132 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 4M7, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in accounting software, and familiarity with computer and technology applications in finance.

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Wages: $36.60 per hour, 40 hours per week; Overtime wage will be $54.90 per hour after 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week
Benefits: 4% Vacation pay
Work Location: Unit #3, 7550 132 Street, Surrey, BC, V3W 4M7 (On-site work only; no remote option)

Eligibility:

• Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
• Language: English

Job Duties:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
• Post journal entries accurately and timely
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns and trial balances of books
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
