MENTAL HEALTH CASE WORKER (Bilingual-French&English)

Job Overview
The Sara Riel Inc. is searching for a collaborative individual with strong interpersonal and social skills to fill up the position of Mental Health Case Worker. Said position is responsible in providing participants an encompassing assistance on various support such as housing, community integration and employment and the assistance to achieve their goals leading to successful community living.

Qualifications and Abilities

• Social Worker.
• 2-5 years’ experience working with adults with mental health issues.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in English and French.
• Satisfactory Employment record.
• Ability to function in a demanding and stressful environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Adult and Child Abuse Registry Check.

Reporting to the director, the incumbent will be responsible for assessing individual’s level of functioning and mental health, developing, documenting, and implementing of individual rehabilitation plans and individual intake interviews. This is a bilingual position in both official languages (English and French). This position provides Emergency On-Call rotation. The incumbent is required to workdays, evenings and weekends, Seven (7) days a week on a rotation schedule. Daily schedule may vary according to program needs.
