Permanent Full-Time Retail Sales Manager wanted for “International Fresh Foods Supermarket Ltd. o/a International Fresh Foods Supermarket” located at #7 – 240 Midpark Way SE Calgary AB T2X 1N4. The wage rate is $46.15 per hour and work 30 to 44 hours per week. You must be flexible, willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Benefit includes 4% vacation pay and continuous learning opportunity.
JOB DUTIES
- Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of an international fresh foods’ supermarket
- Manage staff and assign their job duties
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
- Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customers’ complaints and take appropriate action to resolve the issues
- Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, training, development, and retention of staff

Education: Completion of High School is required
Language: English
Work experience: 5 years or more experience working in supervisory or management position in any retail establishment is required.
