Early Childhood Educator

Bright Cross Learning Center in Surrey, BC is looking for qualified Early Childhood Educator

Job Position and working condition: Early Childhood Educator, Permanent, Full-time

Job Location: 13639 108 Ave Surrey, BC Canada V3T 2K4

Wages and working hours: $24.00 per hour, 30~40 hours per week

Job main Responsibilities:

Lead activities by telling or reading stories, storytelling, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest

Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children

Help children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity

Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts

Guide and assist children in the development of proper habit

Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor

Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children

Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers

Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children

Job Requirement:

- Have Early Childhood Education college Diploma

- Have Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License

- Have Valid First Aid Certificate

- Have Good communication skills in English
