Printing Technologist

Job Description:
V-SHAPES NORTH AMERICA COPACKING INC. located at 6286 203rd Street, Langley, BC, is seeking a skilled and dependable Printing Technologist to join our team in Langley, BC. The successful candidate will operate and monitor printing equipment, ensure production quality, and support efficient printing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Location: Langley, BC V2Y 3S1 (On-site)
Salary: $26.60 per hour, 40 hours per week
Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Schedule: Day
Start date: As soon as possible

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Work Setting:
Printing/Packaging manufacturing facility, Urban area

Job Duties:

• Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments
• Prepare production schedules
• Review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and quantities required
• Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity
• Plan production methods
• Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples
• Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run

Work Conditions:
Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, ability to distinguish between colours, hand-eye coordination
