Employment Terms
- Salary: $24.50 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Status: Permanent, Full-time
- Shifts: Morning, Day, Evening
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Provide bedside and personal care; assist with bathing, grooming, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
- Medical Assistance: Administer medications as prescribed and assist in regular exercises (e.g., walking).
- Nutrition: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals; perform cooking duties.
- Home Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe environment.
- Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Certification: Health Care Aide Certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.
- Language: Proficient in English.
- Security: Must be able to provide a clear Criminal Record Check.
Work Conditions
- Environment: Non-smoking work site.
- Remote Work: No option for remote work; must be completed at the physical location.
