Responsibilities

Tasks

• Assist skilled tradespersons such as carpenters, drywall installers, painters, plumbers, and tilers during renovation and remodeling projects

• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, fixtures, and renovation supplies at residential and commercial job sites

• Prepare work areas by cleaning, measuring, marking surfaces, and setting up basic equipment before renovation work begins

• Support office renovation projects by assisting with demolition, drywall removal, surface preparation, and site cleanup to ensure timely project completion

• Assist in bathroom renovation projects by removing old fixtures, tiles, and materials, and preparing surfaces for installation of new fittings and finishes

• Support basement renovation projects by helping with framing preparation, insulation handling, material transport, and cleanup of work areas

• Assist in shop and retail renovation projects by setting up workspaces, handling materials, and supporting finishing tasks to meet design and branding requirements

• Perform basic construction support tasks such as mixing materials, holding tools or materials in place, and assisting with installations under supervision

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris, disposing of waste materials, and following workplace health and safety procedures

• Help with final cleanup and detailing after renovations to ensure high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction

• Follow project schedules and instructions to support timely completion of renovation projects

• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely under supervision and report equipment issues to supervisors

• Comply with company safety standards, site rules, and customer property protection requirements at all times
