Job Overview

ETP Metal Products Mfg. Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and inspecting CNC machining equipment to produce precision metal components in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision metal parts to exact specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files for machining requirements.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces on CNC machines for accurate production runs.
• Load raw materials and secure them properly in machine chucks or fixtures.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate minor repairs or maintenance.
• Maintain CNC program files and update programs for efficient production.
• Ensure all machined parts meet quality standards and document inspection results.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

• 3 to less than 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a related machining role

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Proficiency in precision measurement and quality inspection techniques

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
