Job Position we are looking: COOK

This Vacancy is for: Permanent at least 30-35 hours per week

Salary per hour: Cad$ 36.60 plus overtime after 40 hours per week.

Skills Requirement 

• Have least 1 year experience as Cook;
• Knowledge in Malaysian Cuisine is an added Advantage
• Able to speak, understand and write in English
• Experience in high profile Restaurants, Hotels, Government Offices is a plus as this is a high end restaurant requiring competency.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Description 

• Estimate food consumption and additionally list the requisitions of foodstuffs and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and Cook food particularly Malaysian and other some Asian Cuisine;
• Plan menus plus utilization of food surpluses leftovers, taking into account probable number of customers, marketing conditions, popularity of various dishes.
• Test cooked foods by tasting and smelling them
• Input and records all inventory of food supplies and equipment
• Create daily schedule for kitchen helpers, train and supervise kitchen helpers
• Helps clean the kitchen and adjacent work areas
• Set-up buffets
