Position - Medical Clinic Assistant

Location - Fort Nelson, BC (On-site)

Salary: $26.38/hour 

Terms: Permanent, Full-Time | Day Shift

Start Date: As soon as possible

Airport Way Medical Clinic, located at 5216 Airport Drive, in Fort Nelson, BC, is seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Clinic Assistant to join the busy physician’s office.  This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and contributing to patient care and clinic efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care
• Clean and dress wounds in accordance with clinical procedures
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instruments for safe reuse
• Maintain medical supplies and manage inventory of equipment
• Perform general clerical duties
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Manage reception duties, including telephone and appointment bookings
• Order supplies and equipment as needed

Qualifications

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year), or equivalent experience
• 1 to less than 2 years of related experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, reliable, and a team player
• English is essential.
