Dry-Link Construction Ltd., located in Surrey, BC, is currently hiring 1 full-time Carpenter to work with their growing team. The candidate must be active, independent, and eager to work as a team.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $37.00 per hour 

Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations(s): Surrey, BC and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Supervise other construction workers.

Job requirements: 

• Completion of secondary school required.
• Completion of an Apprenticeship program in a relevant trade or a Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar trade is required.
• Effective English communication skills.
