Duties and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or college diploma, or equivalent, in your field of instruction.
- Previous teaching experience is 1–2 years.
- Ability and willingness to teach students of all ages and levels.
- Ability to teach a variety of genres: Classical, pop, folk, musicals, and contemporary music.
- Ability to teach in-person and groups
- Create individual lesson plans.
- Creatively deliver organized and thoughtfully built lessons that engage both the parents and students and ensure motivation to continue practicing throughout the week.
- Engage students successfully in the lesson series.
- Work with students and parents to achieve desired learning objectives and skills.
- Explain complex musical concepts to students in an easy and accessible way.
We offer competitive salary - $36 per hour, and full-time, 30–35 hours per week, permanent position.
