We are currently seeking an experienced Scientific Research Director.

Duties:

• Advise clients on reports and findings
• Assign technical projects to staff
• Consult with clients to prepare contracts and project specifications
• Evaluate daily operations
• Plan and control budgets and expenditures
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Present and explain proposals to clients
• Review project plans to approve or recommend design changes
• Establish and implement policies and procedures
• Hire, train, direct, and motivate staff
• Manage contracts
• Authorize the development of specifications for products or services
• Oversee the analysis of data and information
• Oversee the preparation of reports
• Monitor and evaluate performance
• Develop grant proposals
• Manage partnerships with academic institutions

Unique Skills:

• Leads global building decarbonization research strategies
• Designs advanced climate and energy indicators
• Directs multi-partner international research consortia
• Translates complex data into actionable policy insights
• Represents organizations in high-level global forums
• Expertise in the relationships between climate change and health

Supervision:

• 5-10 people

Work Setting:

• Urban area
• Primary industry
• Willing to relocate

Credentials:

• PhD in Sustainable Built Environment and Energy or Equivalent

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience

Salary:

• $66.27 per hour
