Dump Truck Driver

Blackstone Paving Inc. at 6611 216 Street, Langley, BC, Canada V2Y 0W9 is looking urgently Dump Truck Drivers (2 Vacancies).

Duties: Operate and drive primarily straight trucks to transport goods and materials mainly on local routes and short interurban routes. Oversee all aspects of vehicles such as condition of equipment and loading & unloading and safety and security of cargo. Perform pre-trip and post trip inspection of the vehicle. Communicate with dispatcher and team members regarding routes and deliveries. May perform emergency roadside repairs, etc.

Wages rate is $36.60/hr + 4% vacation pay. Jobs are full time and permanent. Minimum hours: 40 Hrs. per week. Education- Secondary school is required. Language-English is required. Minimum Class 3 or D licence required. Candidates holding a valid Class 1 or A licence are also eligible to apply. Applicant must hold a valid licence appropriate for the vehicle operated or be legally eligible to obtain it. On the job training will be provided.
