Link Insurance Services Ltd is currently looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Insurance Agent (NOC: 63100) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for client service and experience in the insurance industry.

 

Position Details:

  • Employer: Link Insurance Services Ltd.

  • Wage: $31.50 per hour for 35-40 hours per week + 4% of gross earnings
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Establish and recommend suitable insurance coverage for clients, including Home, Condo, Tenant, Strata, Vacant House, Farm, Cargo, ICBC Prorate, ICBC Auto Insurance, Recreational Vehicle, Marine, and Commercial Insurance
  • Establish client insurance coverage, calculate premiums and determine payment methods
  • Provide information about insurance packages, risk coverage, benefits and policy features
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Ensure required forms, medical examinations and policy documentation are properly completed
  • Monitor and process insurance claims and respond to client inquiries
  • Identify and solicit potential clients to develop new business opportunities
  • Maintain client records and follow structured sales procedures to ensure customer satisfaction

 

Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Completion of insurance industry training and programs is required
  • Provincial licensure through the Insurance Council of British Columbia (or eligibility to obtain licensure) is required
  • On-the-job training will be provided
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
