Job Description:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other design specifications.
• Trims component parts of joints to ensure snug fit, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and redesign of furniture to meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Install cabinets in designated spaces, ensuring a proper fit and functionality.
• Manage various machines such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers and hand tools to trim design and join materials for cabinet construction.
• Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit, using clamps or clamping machine.
• Sand, paint, stain, or finish furniture and fixtures as required.
• Perform accurate measurements and calculations to ensure precise cabinet dimensions.
• Maintain a safe working environment by cleaning and disposing of old materials, such as nails and screws.
• Assist in preparing material type, quality, and cost estimates for clients.

Requirement:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Minimum 6 months to one year of experience in the similar field is required.
