Hiring!!!!!!

I am expecting a child in March 2024 and located in Ottawa. Currently I am looking for one full-time Child care provider to take care of our new-born baby and assist mom who has chronic pain in the household activities.

Wage                                  :       $22.88 per hour for 30 hours per week (monthly paid)

 

Job requirements Languages

English CLB4 (higher level will be preferred) Vietnamese (Mother tongue)

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation diploma. CPR and First Aid certification required.

Experience

Experience in health care or child-care or education at least one year. Experience as a foster parent does not count but will be preferred.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, cooking, sitting, standing for extended periods.

Specific Skills

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Prepare formulas and change diapers for infants.
  • Bathe, dress and feed infant.
  • Supervise and care for the infant.
  • Tend to the emotional Ill-being of a child and support the social development.
  • Plan, prepare and serve meals.
  • May need to perform other housekeeping duties.
  • Oversee infant’s activities, such as feed, rest periods, as instructed by employer.
  • When necessary, administering first-aid or CPR to children.
    • Keeping up-to-date records of a child’s development, routines, vaccines, health information and interest.
    • Developing and monitoring schedules to ensure that child has enough rest, physical activity, and playtime.
