1 Restaurant manager
Job Overview:
Do you enjoy working in a friendly family-like environment at Thai express? We are looking for an energetic friendly restaurant manager to work with us and make a difference in our 3 locations in barrhaven, Kanata and Carleton place in ON . The primary work location will be Barrhaven.
Responsibilities:
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Conduct performance reviews
Cost products and services
Organize and maintain inventory
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Visit and manage each location at least once a week
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Provide customer service
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Hiring and training team members
Creating a positive welcoming environment for their team
Maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness and food safety Demonstrating a "guest first" approach always
Developing and meeting financial plans
Coordinating in-store promotions
Promoting restaurant in the local market
Requirements
◦ Minimum 2 years' experience as a Thai restaurant manager
Completion of a college or other program in Business management
◦ Passion for service and commitment to quality
◦ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
◦ Strong understanding of restaurant operational controls and financial statements
◦ Proven record of training and developing a team
◦ Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments
◦ Strong background in restaurant operations including food preparation, cooking, kitchen management, and food production
◦ Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cash handling is essential
Demonstrated supervising experience with team management, training & development, and shift management
