Truck Mechanic

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Review work orders and discuss tasks with supervisor

• Inspect motor while in operation; road test motor vehicles; test automotive systems and components as well as mechanical units for faults and malfunctions

• Diagnose faults and malfunctions; confirm findings with supervisor for repair or replacement decisions

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer and automotive systems

• Estimate parts and labor costs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position

• Certification or Diploma in vocational training is preferred

Salary: $36.00 / hour
