Cook

A full-time, permanent Cook is required by Banh Mi Thai Hang 2 Vietnamese Restaurant Ltd. at 1198 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC V5V 3C8

Wage: $20-21 per hour, plus share of tips

The successful applicant will be required to

- Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes

- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

- Manage kitchen operations

- Inspect kitchens and food service areas

- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

- Clean kitchen and work areas

Applicants must have

Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks

or

completion of college or other program in cooking

or

several years of commercial cooking experience

Ability to communicate in English is required.

Vietnamese language skills are considered an asset, as many staff, customers, and suppliers communicate in Vietnamese.
