Building Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor

Job Type: Permanent employment, Full-time
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate, or Higher Education
Experience: Experience an asset

Work setting:
- Various locations, residential and commercial spaces

Responsibilities / Tasks:
- Supervise and guide cleaning staff and assign daily tasks
- Make sure cleaning work is done on time and to a good standard
- Create and follow cleaning schedules
- Inspect buildings and job sites to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Train new staff and provide ongoing training to current staff
- Help cleaners with their duties when needed
- Keep track of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure health and safety rules, client requirements, and company policies are followed
- Arrange or recommend additional cleaning or maintenance services when needed
- Prepare basic budgets or cost estimates for cleaning work

Supervision: 5-10 people
Security and safety: Criminal record check
