Nature of position:      Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)

 

Wage:                          $130,000 per annum. A bonus may be paid from time-to-time, at the sole discretion of the employer.

 

Vacation:                     10 days

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:

 

Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis

  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations
  • Assess neuromusculoskeletal conditions, functional limitations, and injury mechanisms
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging, clinical findings, and relevant medical information
  • Develop individualized, evidence-informed treatment plans based on patient needs

 

Treatment & Patient Care

  • Provide chiropractic adjustments and manual therapy techniques
  • Deliver soft tissue therapy, mobilization, and rehabilitative care as appropriate
  • Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated

 

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Complete clinical notes, progress reports, and third-party documentation when required
  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and privacy standards governing regulated healthcare practice in British Columbia

 

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals including chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and counsellors
  • Participate in coordinated care planning to optimize patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members and external healthcare providers as needed

 

Patient Experience & Professional Conduct

  • Provide a high standard of patient care with a focus on safety, respect, and professionalism
  • Build and maintain long-term therapeutic relationships with patients
  • Uphold the reputation and values of Highlight Health Ltd. through ethical and professional practice

 

Contribution to Clinic & Community

  • Support clinic growth through consistent patient care and retention
  • Assist in meeting regional healthcare demand by providing reliable and ongoing chiropractic services

REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:

 

  • A minimum of three years of university undergraduate in natural science or a related field
  • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic institution
  • Eligible for, or registered with, the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience is required in chiropractic practice
  • Ability to practice independently as a regulated healthcare professional in British Columbia
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • High level of professionalism, ethical judgment, and accountability
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to support a busy clinical environment
  • Ability to manage and maintain a high-volume patient caseload (approximately 50 or more patients per day) while delivering consistent, high-quality clinical care
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development.
