Job Description:

• Manage and organize the employees activities to ensure smooth operations of daily activities.
• Review food orders and communicate special meal instructions of customers to the staff.
• Provide training to employees on food hygiene, cleanliness standards, and proper sanitation methods.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and timely service of food items.
• Assist in interview, selection and recruitment of new employees.
• Check food stock regularly and arrange timely purchase of supplies.
• Prepares work schedules and evaluates work performance of employees.
• Aid in preparation of menus and monitor food usage to reduce waste and control costs.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, daily sales, equipment issues, and food waste.
• Monitor activities of staff to ensure safety and compliance with rules.
• Aiding in preparation of budgets and workplace guidelines.
• Inspect food preparation areas to ensure cleanliness and health standards.
• Make sure food quality and customer service meet company and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Completion of High School is required.
• Post – Secondary Education in the related field and/or minimum 1 year of experience in the field is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Must be available to work weekends, and late-night shifts.
• Must be able to cover extra shifts when needed.
• Ability to reliably commute to the work location due to limited public transit availability.
