Job Description
Gary''s Blueberry Farm Ltd. is looking for 12 general farm workers for their farms. If eligible, please contact us. We will be looking forward for your resumes.
Work sites: Year round work, Outdoors, wet/damp/rain, hot/cold
Job Duties
• Field work, Soil Preparation, plowing, pruning, planting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, sorting, packing of the field crops.
• Examining produce for quality and prepare for market,
• Loading produce into trucks etc. Assist in shipping/receiving activities.
• Monitor irrigation & the soil moisture as per crop requirements.
• Using fertilizers, detecting disease and other problems in crops.
• Protecting crops from weeds & pests by taking appropriate actions
• Operating & maintaining farm machinery & equipment.
Job Requirements
Education: No formal education required.
Experience: No experience required. We will train.
Languages: No specific language requirements
Essential Skills: Be able to work individually and in a team. Ability to lift 50 lbs of weight.
Benefits
4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid. Accommodation can be provided at $30 per week.
