Sumas Valley Berry Farm Ltd. is a family-run agricultural business specializing in blueberry cultivation. We are committed to sustainable farming practices and producing high-quality crops for local market. We are looking for 6(six) Fruit Harvesting Labourer (NOC: 85101) to assist us in farm operations.

Positions Available: 6 (six)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $ 17.85/hour + 4% Vacation pay
Hours: 30–40 hours per week

Accommodation: Provided at $30/week

Working Conditions: Outdoor work in all weather conditions

 Job Description and Duties: 

• Harvest fruits by hand using proper picking techniques to avoid damage to produce
• Sort, grade, and place harvested fruits into containers, bins, or crates according to quality standards
• Carry, load, and unload harvested fruits from fields to collection or storage areas
• Inspect fruits for ripeness, quality, and signs of damage or disease
• Follow supervisor’s instructions regarding daily harvesting targets and work areas
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment used for harvesting
• Assist with pruning, thinning, or basic plant care when required
• Pack fruits for storage or shipment as per farm guidelines
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided
• Language: No language requirement
