Transportation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours)Transportation Manager to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of our transportation services. The successful candidate will oversee transportation operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and lead staff to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation services.

Wage

$ 58/hour

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate transportation operations
• Establish operational policies, safety standards, and procedures, including compliance with transportation regulations
• Oversee dispatch, scheduling, maintenance, and servicing of vehicles, vessels, or aircraft
• Monitor operational performance and prepare reports for senior management
• Control departmental budgets, including procurement and capital expenditures
• Recruit, train, and supervise transportation staff
• Coordinate schedules and implement operational improvements
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards

Employment Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field
• Several years of experience in transportation operations, including supervisory experience
• Extensive industry experience may substitute for formal education
