Key Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical and clinical equipment
• Support patient mobility including lifting, turning, positioning, and weighing patients
• Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Respond promptly to patient call signals and identify patient needs
• Assist with personal care tasks including hygiene and comfort support
• Supervise and guide patients through prescribed exercise routines
• Collect specimens as required
• Maintain and restock inventory of patient care and clinical supplies
• Transport patients using a wheelchair or stretcher
• Provide basic first aid in emergency situations
• Assist pharmacists or clinicians with patient care–related tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment

Qualifications

Education

• Completion of a College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate/diploma (3 months to less than 1 year), or
• Equivalent training and experience

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Certifications

• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
