Improving Toronto Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in the design and deployment of Data Analytics and Corporate Performance Management solutions for mid-sized and large enterprises.
We are seeking a Principal SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Solution Architect to lead our SAP BTP practice. The successful candidate will define architectural standards, lead client engagements, support pre-sales activities and drive ongoing innovation across our SAP offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate end-to-end SAP BTP architectures including data management, integration, analytics, application development, security and AI.
- Ensure technical consistency and scalability across customer implementations following SAP best practices.
- Define and evolve the SAP BTP practice vision, strategy and governance frameworks.
- Lead technical discovery, solution scoping and architecture design for client projects.
- Support sales and pre-sales cycles, including proposals and solution demonstrations.
- Collaborate with SAP Business Data Cloud and Group Reporting leaders to ensure cohesive enterprise architecture strategies.
- Develop reusable solution accelerators and framework architectures.
- Mentor delivery teams and provide advanced technical guidance.
- Monitor SAP’s BTP product roadmap and contribute to new service offerings and go-to-market initiatives.
Requirements
Education
- College diploma / degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP architecture, software engineering or enterprise solution design.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP components (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, CAP, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- Experience leading technical teams and delivering complex SAP solutions.
Additional Skills
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, API management, security and data integration.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
Compensation
Salary: $100,000 CAD per year
Includes potential annual performance-based increases and eligibility for performance bonuses.
