Innovation Roofing Ltd., a well-established roofing company based in Surrey, British Columbia, with many years of industry experience, is seeking one (01) full-time, permanent Roofer to join its growing team.

• Number of Positions: 1
• Wage: $36.65 per hour
• Hours: 30–40 hours per week
• Vacation Pay: 4% of gross wages, paid on each scheduled paycheque
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Work Location: 9590 Prince Charles Blvd, Surrey, BC, V3V 1S6 (This position involves multiple job locations across the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, as work is performed at various client and project sites depending on operational requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant roofing experience
• Language: English

Key Responsibilities

• Install and repair various roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, metal roofs, flat roofs, and slate or tile roofs
• Ensure roofing materials are properly aligned and securely installed to provide effective waterproofing and weather protection
• Inspect roofs to identify damage caused by weather, wear and tear, or structural issues
• Repair roof leaks, replace damaged or missing shingles or tiles, and address structural roof problems
• Apply protective coatings or sealants to extend the lifespan of roofs
• Remove old or damaged roofing materials prior to new installations
• Conduct detailed roof inspections and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment
• Work with specialized roofing materials based on project or client requirements
• Communicate with clients regarding project timelines, costs, and any issues encountered during roofing work
