We take a customer-focused approach across our operations and are committed to continuous improvement in productivity, print quality, and workplace safety. We are currently seeking experienced Supervisor, Printing Press Operators to lead and support our press operations.

 

Job Details

  • Employment type: Permanent, full-time
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Salary: $77,000 – $80,000 annually (negotiable)
  • Shifts: Day, evening, night, morning, weekend
  • Start date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily production, quality, and operational reports
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of printing press operators and production staff (5–10 employees)
  • Oversee apprenticeship programs and provide on-the-job guidance and coaching
  • Train new employees or arrange appropriate training to maintain operational standards
  • Review and approve job proofs and printed samples to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Coordinate and schedule press activities to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Ensure health and safety regulations and company procedures are followed at all times
  • Recommend personnel actions such as training needs, performance improvements, or staffing changes
  • Establish effective work methods and schedules to meet production requirements
  • Provide technical and professional advice to resolve press-related issues
  • Identify and recommend improvements to productivity, workflow efficiency, and product quality
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies required for printing operations
  • Resolve work problems promptly to minimize downtime and maintain consistent output

 

Job Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant experience in printing or press operations
  • Language: English
  • Work arrangement: On-site only (no remote option)
