Emme Hair in Langley, BC, known for ethical human hair extensions and tailored hair services, seeks a talented Hair Stylist. With a focus on our "Emme Strands Hair Fillers" and a full suite of hair treatments, we aim to enhance client self-confidence. The ideal candidate will possess technical proficiency and a passion for customer service, contributing to our salon's welcoming environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities：

• Recommend hair styles and colors that complement client facial features and preferences
• Execute hair cutting, trimming, layering, curling, waving, straightening, and styling services
• Apply hair color agents like bleach, tint, dyes or rinses to achieve desired hair shades or highlights
• Assess hair and scalp condition and advise on appropriate treatments for hair and scalp health
• Clean, style, and maintain wigs, hair pieces, and hair extensions
• Specialize in fitting and installing Emme Strands Hair Fillers extensions
• Perform shampooing and hair rinsing as required
• Contribute to salon operations through duties like reception, supply ordering, and appointment booking
• Coach and develop skills of junior stylists and assistants
• Shape and groom beards and moustaches based on client preferences
• Offer scalp massages and other hair treatments like perms, relaxing, and conditioning
• Manage client bookings and reorder supplies to meet demand

Skills & Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school education is required.
• Candidates should have completed a hairstyling apprenticeship program or a college program in hairstyling combined with on-the-job training.
• Candidates have more than 6 months relevant experience in the field can replace formal education and training.
• Candidates must be comfortable working in a customer-focused environment, providing professional service in a friendly atmosphere.
• Experience in hair extensions and various hair services is considered an asset.
• Candidates may be required to demonstrate their hairstyling skills during the application process.
• Experience in hair coloring, cutting, styling, treatments, and express options is preferable.
• Candidates with experience in ethical human hair extensions will be given preference.
