The Front Desk Attendant will be responsible for providing front-line guest services and supporting daily front office operations, including the following duties:
- Welcome guests upon arrival, complete check-in procedures, and assign rooms in accordance with reservations and availability.
- Manage guest reservations, including booking new reservations, modifying existing bookings, and processing cancellations.
- Assist with guest departures by preparing invoices, processing payments, and completing check-out procedures.
- Respond to guest questions and requests regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Address guest concerns, complaints, or service issues in a professional manner and escalate matters to management when required.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and occupancy levels using the hotel’s property management system.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions and reconcile daily financial reports as required.
- Answer incoming phone calls, forward messages, and respond to guest inquiries by telephone and email.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing documents, preparing reports, and updating guest records.
- Assist guests with special requests or accessibility needs to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures at all times.
- Coordinate wake-up calls and other guest services as requested.
- Work closely with housekeeping and management to ensure rooms are ready and guest needs are met in a timely manner.
Eligibility:
- Secondary school education is required.
- Language: English
