Floor Covering Installer

Job Description:

The employee should be able to work full time (30 to 40 hours per week). It is an entry level position where we will train the employee. Previous work experience in Floor Covering is preferred but not mandatory.

Tasks
Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding
Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors
Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings
Prepare and install hardwood floors
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
Estimate costs and materials
Prepare floors for installations
Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
Install vinyl decking materials
