JOB REQUIREMENTS

Languages: English
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Tools

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, Public transportation is available

Duties and Responsibilities

Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations.
Restore, Repair or replace masonry (brick, stone or concrete), carry out generalcarpentry or painting or roof repair, remove and clean and repair windows, as wellas sandblasting and other masonry cleaning tasks.
Install and use rappelling equipment, swing stage, high ladders, specializedscaffolding and elevated work platforms around church spires, industrial chimneys,cooling towers, bell towers, clock towers, monuments or any other high structures.
Inspect and assess building damage and perform repairs Installing masonrycoatings, Waterproofing, Brick and stone pointing, Precast Repairs and Replacement,Caulking, Natural stone restoration and Cornice repairs.
Supervising apprentices and maintaining health and safety laws and upholdingstandards and quality outlined by Heritage Restoration.

Equipment and Machinery Experience:
Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, Powertools, Hand tools

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
